The OAUG Forum at COLLABORATE 09 will once again honor those exhibitors who demonstrate excellence in brand marketing, creativity, innovation and booth staffing with the Best of Show competition.
Based on your feedback, and the help from the OAUG Exhibitor Advisory Council, the OAUG Best of Show competition has added new categories and judging will now be based on your booth size. In order to continue to bring this excitement and appeal to the show floor, we challenge our exhibitors to go the extra mile.
Did your company roll out a new product/service after COLLABORATE 08? If so, this award could be yours. The aim of this award is to showcase our exhibitors who are forward thinkers and are continuing to contribute to the Oracle Applications community. Only those companies that have released and demonstrated an innovative and breakthrough product/service after May 2008 are eligible. Products/services released before May 2008 are ineligible (must submit supporting documentation).
Does your booth tend to create traffic jams on the show floor? If so, this award could be going home with you. Keeping attendees in the exhibit hall is always a challenge; for this we will award the exhibitor that goes above and beyond to keep the attendees attention and in their booth.
This award goes to the exhibitor with the most creative and unique booth design. The exhibitor with the best technical implementation, layout and flow will definitely take home this prize.
Showcasing your brand pre-show, onsite and post-show is hard work and the OAUG wants to award those exhibitors who have a message that is true to their brand and have built key messaging around their theme (must submit supporting documentation).
This award goes to the exhibitor that conference attendees recognize as the best in all categories. All OAUG attendees will have the opportunity to cast their vote during COLLABORATE 09.
“And the best overall award goes to…” This award goes to the best overall exhibitor that embodies all of the collective criteria, while continuing to be a leader in the industry.
How does the judging work?
A select panel of OAUG members will judge your booth during the exhibit hall show hours. After the judging, the three finalists for Best of Show will be asked to attend the OAUG Meeting of the Members where the winners will be announced. All other winners will be announced in the Wednesday morning e-mail announcement as well as in post-conference press releases.
What’s in it for my company?
Besides bragging rights, winners will also receive free advertising for your company (press releases, mention in OAUG eNews, mention in OAUG Insight, etc.). Your company will also receive an award to showcase in your office and OAUG Rewards° Points that you can trade in for complimentary OAUG opportunities.

How do I enter my company’s booth in the competition?
Download and complete the OAUG Exhibitor Best of Show Entry Form (PDF file). Entry forms and supporting documents (if applicable) must be submitted by April 10, 2009, via e-mail to sales@oaug.com, or via fax to +1 404.240.0998. You must submit a separate entry form for each category in which you wish to compete.
