OAUG’s Booth Selection Process

Booth selection for the OAUG is based on OAUG Star Partner level and OAUG Rewards° Points.

The order is as follows:

  1. Five-Star Partner
  2. Four-Star Partner
  3. Three-Star Partner
  4. Two-Star Partner Elite
  5. Two-Star Partner
  6. General Exhibitors

Within each Star Partner level, your appointment time is determined by the number of OAUG Rewards° points you have earned by October 15. Once all Star Partners have selected their booths, general exhibitors will then select based on their OAUG Rewards° points. Remember, you must be signed up as an OAUG Rewards° member prior to October 15. If you’re already an OAUG Rewards° member, sign in today to review the number of points you’ve earned. Questions about the OAUG Rewards° program can be sent to oaugrewards@oaug.com.

Note: Demo Partners’ and Rising Star Partners’ booth space is predetermined. If you’re a Demo Partner or Rising Star Partner and have questions about your placement, please contact us at starparter@oaug.com.

The OAUG at Oracle OpenWorld

During the week of September 21, 2008, the OAUG was proud to be a part of Oracle OpenWorld 2008. Many of you came by the OAUG kiosk to talk about joining the OAUG or to renew your membership — not to mention the new users who signed up as OAUG Members for the first time. Meeting with all of you made this week extra special!

We were happy to make our way throughout the tradeshow floor to meet, mingle and discuss plans for COLLABORATE 09 with many of our past, present and prospective exhibitors.

Since we know many of our exhibitors are all about the numbers, here are some numbers just for you:

  • The OAUG held over 50 SIG meetings on Sunday and had over 2300 participants.
  • The OAUG held a Fusion Council Panel Discussion and had over 30 participants.
  • Over 50 Oracle OpenWorld attendees and OAUG members came to the OAUG Knowledge Factory™ demo on Sunday.
  • Close to 300 OAUG members attended our special Hyperion Reception on Tuesday evening.
  • Over 50 Oracle executives, OAUG members and Oracle OpenWorld invited attendees attended our Executive Luncheon on Wednesday.
  • Over 150 OAUG members came to the OAUG’s annual Appreciation Event on Wednesday evening, which was graciously sponsored by one of our Star Partners, IBM.

Sponsorship Picks of the Month

In each issue of the exhibitor newsletter, the tradeshow team highlights their sponsorship picks of the month! So, without further ado, here are our picks for this month:

Erick’s Pick: The Award-Winning THEgame Sponsorship

Cost: Level 2 $3,000

The OAUG was recently awarded the prestigious 2008 IAEE Art of Show award for best Sponsorship Development Program for THEgame. As you can imagine, we were thrilled to receive this honor, and we have all of our past sponsors to thank for this. Over the past two years, conference attendees have competed to find the winning puzzle piece by repeatedly visiting your booth.

For our new exhibitors, the object of THEgame is for our attendees to find the winning puzzle piece in the hundreds of puzzle pieces at your booth. Sign up today for a Level 2 sponsorship with the award-winning THEgame traffic generator.

Check out the Web site for more information about THEgame!

Denise’s Pick: An advertisement in the OAUG Coupon Book

Cost: $885.00

Increase traffic to your booth by placing a coupon or advertisement in the OAUG Coupon Book.

You can customize your very own advertisement that showcases your booth giveaway. Perhaps you want to host a special drawing. Or maybe you want to promote special reserve seating for your education session because you know your session will sell out. If so, this is the sponsorship for you! Attendees will grow to love the OAUG Coupon Book because there’ll be special offers and free giveaways inside.

Use this two-page coupon to gain interest for your special item and increase booth traffic at the same time. You customize this two-page ad and we will handle the rest! The coupon books will be physically handed to attendees at registration, so there’s no need to worry about it getting lost in the shuffle.

At this price, these ad spots will definitely sell out, so reserve yours today. You can not find a better sponsorship at this price!

Alicia’s Pick: Marketing Publication Bins

Cost: $2,000

Increase visibility for your publication, case study or marketing brochure by sponsoring your very own publication bin. COLLABORATE attendees have grown accustom to picking up IOUG, OAUG, Quest and Oracle publications in our pub bins. This year you have the opportunity to sponsor your own — designed by you!

These sponsored pub bins are displayed in high-traffic areas and readily available to all attendees.

So, if you haven’t already created a profile on the Knowledge Factory, do so now so you can receive the updates when the blog goes live.
